DIRECTOR / CLINICAL LEAD

Brie is the Director of Network Speech Pathology, leading a dedicated team of speech pathologists who provide high-quality care to individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties. With a passion for delivering person-centred services, Brie is committed to ensuring that each client receives individualised support tailored to their unique needs.

Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to clinical excellence, working closely with her team to maintain high standards of care.

Her dedication to evidence-based practice ensures that each client’s goals are functional and outcomes are maximised. Brie’s commitment to client education and resource development led her to write and publish the cookbook Simply Modified for adults experiencing dysphagia, further demonstrating her innovative approach to improving quality of life for her clients.

NATALIE GRAINGER

SENIOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Natalie is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist with extensive clinical expertise in both acquired and progressive neurological disorders. Her advanced proficiency in dysphagia management, including competency in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS), is just one of the many ways that Natalie strives for a gold-standard of care.

With her active involvement across multiple committees and professional bodies, Natalie contributes to the development of clinical guidelines, peer mentoring, and the promotion of evidence-based practices. Confident in her ability to provide expert support, she is deeply committed to helping her clients navigate their conditions with compassion and respect, while offering the most effective and personalised care possible.

JAS SEKHON

SENIOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Jas is an experienced speech pathologist with an incredible 32 years of expertise supporting adults across the healthcare continuum.

Jas is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of her clients and their families. In December 2022, she was awarded her PhD, which focused on enhancing speech pathologists’ ability to support the psychological wellbeing of individuals with post-stroke aphasia and their families. Her research explored innovative approaches such as strengths-based frameworks, positive psychology, problem-solving, and solution-focused strategies, enriching her practice and contributing to improved client outcomes.

We are extremely lucky to have Jas on the team. She brings a compassionate and evidence-based approach to therapy, tailoring her care to meet each client’s unique needs. She values collaboration and works closely with clients, families, and carers to empower individuals to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

CHANTEL KENDLE

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Chantel is a UK-trained Speech and Language Pathologist who holds a Master of Medical Science (MMedSci) in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Sheffield, graduating with distinction in 2020. As a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia, Chantel brings extensive experience in assessing and managing dysphagia and communication challenges across diverse adult populations.

Her clinical background spans acute medical wards, specialist stroke units, tertiary neuro-rehabilitation, subacute and palliative care settings, as well as voice and stuttering clinics. Chantel's specialist interests include speech, voice, and swallowing, with a focus on enhancing her clients' independence, quality of life, and fostering authentic communication.

She is passionate about affirming personal narratives, and empowering self-advocacy. Her dedication to accessibility is rooted in her rural upbringing, driving her commitment to equitable speech pathology services for all, including telehealth-based care.
